We have an ASUS Zenbook UX305FA laptop running Windows 10 that is able to be woken from sleep with an external Keyboard and Mouse when they are plugged-in directly into their individual USB ports.. However, after plugging in a USB Hub and then plugging the external Keyboard and Mouse into the USB Hub, the laptop will no longer wake up from sleep with the external Keyboard or Mouse.

In this case, the only shutdown options you'll see are Sleep and Lock. The quickest way to enable hibernation is to close the power settings window and then hit Windows+X and open Command Prompt (Admin). At the Command Prompt, type the command: powercfg /hibernate on.

5. Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn of this device to save power." 6. Restart and check if the issue persists. Try to disable Fast Startup, follow the steps below: 1. Open the Start Menu, search for "Control Panel" and open it. 2. Go to Power Options in the Control Panel. 3. Click "Choose what the power buttons do" 4.
Settings for Windows 10: Hit Win+R on your laptop to start the Start Menu. Now type and search Lock Screen Settings. Click on Screen Saver Settings at the window's bottom. Now change the Screen Saver settings to None. And it's done. Now check if the computer goes to sleep.
c. Check if the computer starts. Step 2: If the computer does not start, then check if it starts in safe mode a. See Start the computer in safe mode b. Check if the computer boots to the desktop. c. If it boots, then restore the computer to an earlier time. See How to restore Windows XP to a previous state
Overall, the ROG Ally is rather well-built. Although that's not to excuse it coming without a carry case, or even some kind of padded ROG sock stuffed in the box. Come on, Asus, it's a portable computer! Even the cheapest Steam Deck model isn't so miserly as to ship without a bundled hard case. With the ROG Ally, it's an optional £25
